Information We Collect
We collect the information you provide when creating an account — name, email, professional title, and company. When you connect at a venue, we record the venue, time, and connections you confirm. We never collect contacts, location history outside venues, or background data.
How We Use It
Your information powers presence-based introductions, account security, and aggregate venue analytics. We use it to deliver the service, prevent abuse, and improve features. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Data Sharing
Your profile is shared only with users you mutually connect with. Venue partners receive anonymized, aggregated metrics — never individual records. We share data with service providers (hosting, email) under strict contractual obligations, and with authorities only when legally required.
Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. Connection history is kept for up to 24 months unless you delete it sooner. When you close your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.
Your Rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from your account settings. For requests under GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable laws, contact privacy@netlounge.app.
